I have a smaller waist and larger hips, I got this in a waist 30" but it can be tight on my thighs, but any larger and I would have to always wear a belt. Definitely make sure whatever size you order you could reasonably fit your hips/legs into - I didn't go for my waist size but I also didn't go too large. The material and quality is great.

I always get compliments when I wear these out! Were bought for me by my husband a few years ago and they've lasted very well, a small amount of fading on the black but still look good.

length is fine with platforms or rolled up a bit
